2nd Update for 06/07/2009

Damn, threw the headlights in without the front covers on and man im impressed.

I need to rotate the passenger projector clockwise about 5 degrees cause its a little off.

but enough talk time for pictures! AND the pictures dont even do the headlights justice, they look so badass!

General cutoff picture.
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

A rear view of the light spread, its actual wider but the camera didnt pick it up.
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

From the side so you can see the distance I was from the other side of the road.
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

Camera glare FTL!!!!
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

MORE CAMERA GLARE! The lights are crisp circles in person, no glare at all!!!!!
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

And this is from the drivers seat, as i said, the camera didnt do it justice.
*Lost picture; will try and find them again.*

I know! I love it! I'm glad I spent a little extra money on the Acura TSX projectors.

UPDATE 06/13/2009

I finished the back covers today. Used scrap pieces of aluminum and JB weld to make a really sturdy cover. Painted the white aluminum black for a cleaner look. It is also water tight (Besides for the holes at the bottom; water doesn't flow upwards) and heat proof up to like 600 degrees F.

Pictures!

Top

Bottom with hole drilled for wires.

Inside, you can see the JB weld. Wow that stuff holds. its like a solid piece metal.

Tonight I'm going to throw the lights in the car one more time to check for rotational alignment and to make sure I still have enough up and down adjustment.

If all goes well tonight I will throw my stock lights in the oven to get the front clear covers and re-seal them tomorrow.

:-D

make sure you only have your lights in the oven for as short a time as needed, I've heard if they stay in too long or at too high a heat they'll turn milky
