what about the new Taurus ... I think that would be a well worth buy.

sell it and get an ST or an SVT. that way you can probably get through the deal with a minimum outlay of cash and still not have car payments.

Either that or hold out for the new Fiesta.

Good luck!

Don't rice out your interior. It will look exactly like what you did - popped off pieces and spray painted them.

The Dealership couldn't careless on how you did those mod on your focus, When I traded my focus for a focus I had a fair about of mods done; the dealership gave me a good trade-in value for it.

How long do foci usually last? i'm at 28.5k and great on upkeep... last care was a '94 civic and the engine and tranny went out after 195k... has a new 40k engine in it but it got in an accident. Haven't driven it since but it works.

Maybe i'll mod this one and just run it into the ground over the next 4 years or so, then pick up something really nice =]

I think it all depends on what i learn from the dealer tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your input.

I guess you went to the dealer already. But If you don't like the color, the interior or that its an auto, I think those are big things that you can't just forget about. My car, I'm not crazy about there are things I would like to change. Like wish it was faster and now I wish I got a manual. But my car is fun to drive, and the colors are too my liking. I always had plans for mods but never got around to them. Now I plan on sticking it out and saving my money for a new car and not spending money on mods which can get pricey. Its true you might get a mod and make yourself feel alittle better about your car but how long will that last? You think you can do enough mods to satisfiy you for 4 years?

I say, save your money, do not pour mods into it at all, the ones you listed will be well over a grand after parts and labor which you could put to a new car or something else. But definitly ditch the car, whether it be right now for an 08 or 09 or in a year on a fiesta. The new focus is not coming to 2011, maybe even late '11 so you got some time. Also something to consider, the longer you wait to ditch your current car, the more miles you'll have on it and the lower the value of the car.

So if you really really don't like the car and you think the only way you can live with it is through mods....sell it for 8 or 9K and go get something you really want.

BTW, there are plenty of basically new 08 and 09 SES coupes running around for about 15-16k. Also, there hasnt been any pics of the MKIII focus yet lol.
