making the stock seats more comfortable?

I'm looking for a way to make my stock seats more comfortable for long drives. I'm not looking to replace the seats at this point, just cover them so that my butt doesn't fall asleep on longer drives.

Any suggestions?

Get some nice seat covers? I don't know much about them but I'm pretty sure they make some thick squishy ones somewhere.

yea, get some memory foam padding and put it under some nice seat covers.

I have a question about the seat covers and stuff..
Does the 07 have the little tag on the seat that says AIRBAG ?

Does the airbag actually pop out of the seat? If it does, doesn't a seat cover obstruct it? Then what?

i know you're not supposed to put them on the seats with side airbags.. coming out of the seat? i don't know.. but i cant find one that works on my 08. every one i have had on there starts to rip wehre the "butt" coushin and the back meet. it sucks... had a good nice 30$ one and it sucked... then now a little cheaper that i like more and its starting to rip. but anyways enough rambling i think the memory foam and seat cover idea is great!

i checked my 07 and theres no tag that says airbag, that would be insane if one popped out of the seat because it would force you into the saftey belt and that would mess you up!

i used to work at an upholstery/auto trimming shop... your best best are to take it to a trim shop and tell them you want a build up on your seat that way you don't need to fuss with seat covers and they can custom tailor the foam and everything to you. they can also put a reinforcement piece of cloth between the foam and the frame to help prevent the foam from breaking down between the cover and frame which is what causes the ripping... i did quite a few seats where the customer came back a few times and we adjusted it until it was just right... if you want to go seat covers though the best bet is to get them from a trim shop as well... we used to make ones that had special cutouts for where the airbags popped out or or we used to use a velcro cover that would pop off without problems and ours had a warranty of a year or so where if normal wear and tear broke them we'd replace panels in the cover for free

mine has side airbags. i guess i would obstruct the airbags, but then again, the airbag might just tear straight thru the cover.

it pops out on the very side of you keeping you from slamming into the door it does not come out on your back if your in a type of wrack that does not make your body fly sideways towards the door you wont even touch it, it rips straight through the fabrics sowing marks (a.k.a if it happens you will not only have to replace the airbag if you want to but the seat as well but hay small price to pay for getting to keep your life)

my 06 has a little black tap on the side of the seat that's says airbag and yes the airbag does come out of the seat itself kinda weird how it pops out my brother in law was in a side impact and there was a 1 foot long 3 inch wide peace of fabric laying on the floor board with hole in the side of the seat closest to the door with a white deflated bag hanging out of it

You can find plenty of seat covers out there that are created with side airbags in mind. In fact, there are quite a few on ebay that are compatible with side airbags.
