Cams on the 2002 svt!
Are the cams on the svt just like the cams on the reg. zetec? And if so will adj. cam gears be a good call for a little more oomph?

Sorry I mean in the respect that there is no keyway or pin on the cam shafts? Where the stock gears mount.

No the cams are different, or at least one of them is. The svt comes with an intake cam, so when you buy the "cams" you are actually going to buy a single cam gear. And yes adjustable cam gears will be good for a little more "oomph" but you have to find someone to tune them and that takes a few runs on a dyno.

Damn, I hope so. I was hearing more than that....more like in the $700-$800 range for the cams and flasher. I know they had some pricing issues that might be cleared up with a core charge/refund. I hope they worked it out

Hey this is actually a guesstimate based off of a reply from belacyrf so maybe your info is a little more accurate at this point. Only time will tell............
