5-points just bother my junk. having a 6-point with the two points seperated, much like a skydiving harness, will allow no junkage to be severed. the 5-points are right in the center, not ever comfy at all.
NOPE, i don't race, YUP I only have 4 pt harnesses in my car. That's just my opinion. if you are required to do 5pts, just do 6 and have that "V" instead of an "I' between your legs. |

Easier said than done. Most race seats don't have slots so you can separate the crotch harnesses and bringing the harnesses over the front of the seat allows more play and lets you slide forward before being captured (not good). Sitting on the crotch/submarine belts is the only way I have seen that gives reasonable belt separation and thus, protection to your manliness. I would like to know if there are other ways as well. |
