Cool Key Replacements

Tired of your standard old dinky Ford key?

I bought this off of ebay a few weeks ago and finally got it cut on Friday and programmed it to work

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CYQFOMwWIg < my video of it "working"

$20 for the key thingy, $1.50 to get it cut, free to program if you have 2 working keys
I say this is pretty solid. Fun to play with too.

I'm gonna try to figure something out where I won't have to carry any key that has to do with the car at all. I can leave that inside the car as it does not look like a key, then when I get the keyless entry number pad thing from Mike later this week I can use that to get in and I'll take that key and start up and drive away :)

I dunno ask them. But I'm sure you can just paint it yourself if you wanted to.
You can split the thing in half. I had to do that cuz I pressed on the arrow part that was for decoration and it fell off Thank god I figured out I could take it apart and just super glue it back on. Now it's stronger than ever

if your key's blade is the same as the 09 blade it will work
The thing comes with a chip inside so you can program it

try to compare your key with the pic of my key up top

and look what I found!

This one has the remote built into it too!! I think I have to get this one too.. I think I'm going key happy right now..

This one is the strange one. As much as I would love to have this one I dunno if it would work and the guy was kinda weird with telling me whether it would work or not. In his description it says in order for it to work you need to have the key with the buttons built into it like the one in the pic. But I have a key key with the 4 buttons on a separate fob and the person told me that it would not work. What's the difference between the buttons in the key and the buttons on the fob?

I guess I don't see all the excitement. It's a key that's only a little smaller than the factory key, with rounded edges. What's the big effin' deal?

If it's that awesome to be a tiny bit smaller, you should see the key to my K1500...it's not much wider than the actual metal part, which is narrower than Ford's anyways....

You'd s**t brix.

the new 09 foci do the music jingle when you open the door. in fact, the ford flex i test drove did it too. i like it! older VW's used to have a music jingle like that :)
