anything......cam gears, cams, exhaust, intake, newer plugs/wires to make your car run smoother, header, new flex pipe, tires/wheels for better traction/handeling, suspension upgrades so your car can handle the power you want to give it.

first off ....congrats on the purchase....first off for the mods i'd start with an intake and exhaust and suspension....

intake----Volant
exhaust--Borla
suspension--Eibach kit (sway bars etc.) or Goldline lowering springs (that's what i have and love them)

then...

UDP--Esslinger or AFX
throttle body--Focus central
Headers--SVT Kit (if stayin emissions legal) if not then Focus Central or Focus Sport
Hi-Flow Cat--Random Technology (if stayin emissions)
Flexpipe---Bosal or Focus Sport
Nice set of rims

here's a few links to start you off....

First of all, welcome to the group . Is your Z a 5 speed or automatic, how much $ are you willing to spend, what are your long term plans (N/A, Turbo, Supercharger). Remember this saying, "speed costs money, how fast do you want to go".

If you want something cheap to get u in the modding mood that will give u a noticable gain. Pick up the Focus Central Under drive pulley kit. It just over $100 and is something u will notice. http://newedgeperformance.com/index....PROD&ProdID=63
