how to get tune from email to x3

hey im an idiot so speak like im 3 years old.. how do i get a tune from my email onto the xcal 3. also does it matter that my computer is from 2006/7

No. You have to download a thing or two i believe before you can get the tune onto the xcal3. blivit is the guy to ask about this.

so i followed these instructions

and now when i try to open x3lwupdater i get an error. to run this app. you must install one of the following versions of.net framework v2.0.50727

this is bs if you ask me im really hating this crap

so i did what is said in those instructions and pluged in the xcal and then i read on a different page that if it isnt installed right and i plug the xcal in to the computer its wrecked

Our software runs using the .NET framework which is pretty much standard now for windows applications. The current version of .NET is 3.5 and our applications require at least 2.0 which is rather old so this is telling you that your PC is at least a year behind (guessing) with windows updates.

Once you have a suitable .NET environment on your PC, install the X3LWUpdater program from our website. During the install of this program it will install the drivers for the X3 device automatically. Once this is done, plug in your X3. A new found hardware wizard will pop up. Choose "no, not this time" for the first question then "install automatically (recommended)" for the second and you should be set driver wise.

Once the driver is installed, open the program by double clicking on the icon that gets created on your desktop and plug in your X3 if it is not already plugged in. Choose the "liveload tunes" button then select the file that you were emailed.

i called sct and after him controlling my computer and getting everything working i got it going. cant really tell the difference from stock tho

guys a tune is not nitrous lol if tuned properly and the number are well,
it will improve performance a little bit and in the gas department and make the car overall run better
