Hi! I'm from Russia too -) I have ST170 - european version of svt -)
I think, PASHTET said that he can't switch gearbox to reverse gear.

BTW, HilloNative, where did you find that manual about GETRAG 285? Can you post me a link??

And another question, is there any parts for this gearbox for the case if I broke it? For example syncros, shafts, bearings??? My local dealer said that they can only change broken gearbox with repaired on factory one for the price of $5000 -(

Wow $5000!!! I don't think that he can't get the part its just more convenient to put a re-manufactured transmission in there so find another dealer and they could prolly get parts then again I'm not form Russia so it could be different

i got a workshop manual, well, actually 2, on is a european cd that i bought online, look for them on google under "ford technical information system", the price is like 15 euros, is really usefull, there is a lot of information there, and not only for the focus, other european cars, and the other that i have is a book for the american focus, is pretty similar to the cd, cant find any differences yet...

HilloNative looking at your photo I cannot understand that in it not so... My levers stand hardly on another. But I see one detail which at me is worn out.

Chase painted red-is worn out! And so the part which is painted in yellow (pin) which goes in this chase as is worn out!

On a pin (yellow) I have dressed the iron barrel, after resetting reverse gear have earned, but it as I think not on long. Help to find two these details (levers)
