New front splitter!

I just saw a thread on FJ in the exterior forum about a Cupra R front splitter fitted to a Focus. It looks really cool and I want one! I'd post a car pic, but I don't have permission from the owner and don't want to cause any waves. So if you want to see it you have to check it out there.

Here is a link to the part itself: http://oemplus.com/index.php?main_pa...products_id=64

Here's a pic of the splitter:

Let me just say this was a simple installation involving a drill to make mounting holes in the ABS plastic spoiler, screws, and a screwdriver. It is a one person job.

Start by centering the spoiler and installing the first 2 screws on each side of the recessed portion of the spoiler. I just drop a stretch of masking tape straight down from the grille emblem and wrap around the center of the spoiler.
Once the first two screws are in place, the spoiler hangs safely and you can work around each side without needing support.

I failed to take a part pic. Sorry about that. But here are the results (00-04; not sure if it will fit later models, and definitely is not long enough to fit the svt).

Happy modding ;) .

Everything looks better on an RS bumper! I can't afford that, but I can afford this and I won't need side skirts to match. Now to find the best price and buy one:) .
