underbody glow??? hole through fire wall?

I just purchased an underbody glow kit off ebay, and I need to know the best place to drill a hole through the firewall to run my wires, I have installed this same kit on my pontiac grand am, but I am unfamiliar with my new cougar and seeing as it has the same 2.0l zetec engine I'm assuming the firewall would be similar

well the only thing u could do is look under there and see if there are any existing holes already there or any rubber grommets that u can drill through. if not, u could always drill a hole in the flood under ur carpet and run the wires through there and just seal it up with some glue or something

Look behind the pedals off to the left a little IIRC and there should be a rubber grommet you can go through.

Under the steering wheel, and look behind the or near the fuse box.

It will have some rubber on the grommet, use a screwdriver, wrap your wires around it a little bit down, and use a strong tape to keep them there, then shove like a mutha.

It will go through and your wires wil be through no problem. Then just run them where you need them. =]

BTW you don't need to drill, there is already a hole containing most of your wiring harness from the engine bay, use it, it will go through, just takes a little man power.

i have the control box for my glow kit under the rear seat. there is a huge cavity there to house it. also, there is a rubber grommet right there for wires!!!

if you cant go this route, just drill another hole somwhere.

good luck
