Here we go. Enough sitting around on my ass, time to rip into this thing....this is what we have done since 11AM this morning....

this is where we started minus the hood...fenders and bumper were removed awhile ago.....

this thing got NAILED........

this just looks like brain matter at this point....shit everywhere.....i have a LOT of soot cleaning to do......

this is all fine here. nothing melted in the suspension area.

some of the remote stuff got hit but it looks salvageable.....

this is where we are now:

some of the interior....its all ripped up right now. i threw the stereo and sub into the eclipse for now....

engine should be coming out after the halfshafts come out. not much is connected anymore.

........the firewall is FINE. plastic items were melted and my aftermarket gauges got hit. the interior is FINE and doesn't even smell like smoke. I am DEF gonna make out pretty damn good as the $11.3K check is already in the bank.......

stay tuned for updates.....and IF IF IF it runs in time for Carlisle....no one will know till i show up.....

brakes are off to the knuckles....gotta go to LOWES for the 1-1/4 socket for the big nut to get the axles out.

i hope the engine is OUT by tonight sometime.......should be possible. we are taking our time checking for damage as well. the metal is fine, PWSC looks okay. a few of the vac lines melted but the structural aspects look great. still have the clearcoat in the engine bay as well under all that soot

i'll get more picts up later on today.

yup yup...i got the 1-1/4 socket and just put a nice scratch in my door...yay.....i should remove the doors or cover the crap outta them cause i have tools and shit mixed with good body panels....ugh......
