Exclamation **Aftermarket FUEL RAILS**

For some odd reason there has been quite a few new threads on fuel rails and I feel its time to put this to rest.

CHANGING OUT YOUR STOCK FUEL RAIL FOR AN AFTERMARKET ONE WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY MORE POWER!!!!!!

Stock Zetec and SVT fuel rails have been proven time and time again to support FAR over 300whp... something you are not going to see from an NA motor (at least not without spending thousands and thousands of dollars on the motor)

1) Changing out the fuel rail does nothing for power or how much fuel is delivered to the motor... thats from INJECTORS and changing the TUNE.

2) a simple sandwich adaptor will give you ports for gauges and Nitrous

3) they do LOOK prettier than stock.. but there is absolutly no more performance.

i have to admit there has been a lot of fuel rail threads lately

i doubt its even possible to make enough power that you would acually benefit from a fuel rail. and i mean if money wasnt even close to an object

I think I know who to blame--there's been an add out claiming 6-8hp "as per maunfacturer". The thing is the manufacturer's website makes no such claim. I asked the vendor about his add and he directed me back to the manufacturer. BOGUS. I'm not going to by anything from that guy.

The Zetec in '98 Ford Escort Zx2's have a fuel rail with a port on the end great for such things. Highly wanted part amoung the Zx2 community. Maybe fits on Focus Zetec??

Take a look on my car:

^^The only reason I would want a zx2 fuel rail would be to have a return style fuel system. Other than that I'd leave it alone.
