A lightweight flexplate won't really make any difference as it is already very light and it is bolted to the impeller on the torque converter. Its not like a flywheel where the pressure plate can separate it from the trans. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

The stock one is probably steel anyway.. I couldn't imagine getting any stronger than that. And with any kind of lighter metal, such as aluminum, even if it is forged, the plate being so thin it would probably warp. I don't understand this at all. You won't see any gain from a lighter flexplate at all. Nothing.

Auto Trans Drain Plug for Flushing

Im thinking about doing this so I can flush my transmission. I thinking about the B&M plug kit. It looks like I could get some clear hose and put a fitting on it and simply screw it into where the drain plug comes out. Does anyone have experience with this ?

Use a trans flushing machine & it hooks up to one of the cooler lines. Don't forget to change your trans filter also.
