Hello! I need some advice..

Hey guys, brand new to the forum so it's nice to meet you all. A little background information; I used to own a 2000 Ford Focus Zx3 and just recently upgraded to a 2005 Ford Focus ST. I've been pondering aftermarket performance upgrades for awhile now and was wondering where the best place to begin was. I know I want to replace the stock wheels, the general opinion seems to be that 17's are the best bet; what do you guys think? Any feedback would be helpful, thanks again guys.

-Ryan

Yeah 17's are good, with an offset of 42 to 45mm

You should start a thread in the general chat lounge to introduce yourself and post up pics of your car. Photobucket works really well

17's best bet. Chrome isn't usually a good color on our cars IMO. As far as performance parts are concerned. The bolt ons are good not much horsepower to gain without a tune which brings me to my next point. get a tune, slightly pricey but SO worth it. I was ify about buying mine but totally and 100% satisfied with it. Check out focuspower in the forums page. the guys name is Tom and his username is 1turbofocus he does tuning and is very good at it.

Great choice with the car

Andrew

welcome bro, yes 17s are the best fit for the car. and bolts on are the best place to start. you wont see huge gains but will notice better responce. also start saving for a drop. it will make the car handle like you never knew.
