I think I might be getting a leak or noise from the flex pipe too, I'm going to have to get it checked out..
Just out of curiosity, anybody have a ball park number on HP gain for the F2 header?

hey curiousity... the new f2 header is using a 2.75 primaries and a 2.5 collector and now so is the OBX... does this mean the OBX will have the same response on the D20 as the F2 has had?

with a tune you can expect probably 15whp i'd imagine. Maybe more. The 2.0L head flows pretty poorly so its hard to say.

And by saying 2.75" you mean 1.75" correct?

And yes the FS or Cosworth with their bigger primaries will benefit the 2.3 more than the 2.0.

since it says you will need to remove the cat-converter for a header, can you just put one in the exhaust kit part? Like get a tru-bendz with a catalytic converter, muffler and a tip? will that cover you?

Cover as far as what? An emissions test? Yes, and no.

For OBDII cars they don't use a sniffer at all. All they do is plug a basic scantool into the OBDII data link port and check for readiness parameters and emissions related codes. If the car is throwing a code, you fail the test. Technically you could have no cat on the car and pass as long as it isn't throwing a code.

Now putting a header on will always make your car throw a code because of the downstream O2 sensor. You can either get a tune to disable this sensor, or use an O2 cheater to pass.
