Lightbulb FSWerks parts

hey all. i'm new to upgrading Foci, but i stumbled across this FSWerks site when searching for a good after market shop online. Any feedback about them and/or their products?

Also, i'm thinking about getting these but i was wondering if anyone knows of any comparable products/sites i can look at for these upgrades?

thanks.

I was thinking maybe a diff. brand for the exhaust but then again if i knew of another header to put on there, i could check that out as well.

Also, anyone know how much they gouge for shipping? lol

just realized those headers aren't for street use, hrmm. does that matter that much?

if you can't get the FSWERKS exhaust i say custom make your own 2.25" exhaust. for some reason i've heard 2.25" sound better than 2.5"

How do they check for emmissions? I have their header & a stealth muffler. It'd be great to have a tune to delete the egr & turn off the rear o2 senser. As far as the clutch goes all you need is the Exedy oem kit.

I'm just a daily driver but will the OEM last longer than a factory clutch? I was just thinking stage 1 because i figured it would be higher quality but still street-feelish, but if i can slip by with the OEM and a short shift kit then ill do that, itll be way cheaper.

i just got the beast and it has 140k on it, one owner, so i kind of want to take to a tranny shop just to get the clutch looked at and see how worn it is or i can just go ahead and install a new one, but yeah. any thoughts?

The oem clutch uses a dual mass flywheel, which makes it smoother, where the Exedy kit uses a 1 peice flywheel. Does it slip or do you have a issue w/ the clutch? If it works, why replace it? If it lasts 6 months or a few more yrs, great. I'd only change it if you really have problems & don't forget 'bout a throw out bearing. Hit up http://centralfloridamotorsportsfor a steeda shifter, which is the best one.

i feel you on not replacing it. i just wanted it to feel a bit less worn. is it worth getting it looked at or is having it taken apart and what not adding to the possibility of it messing up. i don't feel much slipping at all, but this is the first manual i've had in years so i'm getting back into the swing of things.

sometimes its hard to get into first from a stop. but that's the only real issue ive experienced with it, and it doesn't do that often at all.

so another question, do you think i could install this myself?

http://focus.c-f-m.com/freeshippings...ecduratec.aspx

the deepest i've got into a car was replacing a head before, but i had some assistance then and this time it'd just be me and my step dad's tools but yeah, is it a self-do-able job?

OH and if someone can link some knobs that actually screw on, mine is kind of messed up. thanks so much!

I have that Exedy Stage 1 from FSWerks. Going to get their stealth + headers next. Got to say, I love the clutch.
