all i did was cut a piece of metal the same size as the gasket and bolted it on. works fine for me, plus the blockoff plate looks so much better than that ugly egr valve

i couldnt justify spending $20 on something that i can make for free.

i like that quarter idea tho! did you put it inbetween the IM and the pipe going to the egr vavle?

^^Quarter is used as a block off on the exhaust manifold. Just use the stock EGR nut and samich it in there.

After looking at the pics i see what i need to do now!

Quater for header as planned and ill just make a plate out of some steel i have laying around, drill it out and make a gasket for it and call it a day :D

Ill start pulling sensors and vac lines tomorrow.


Side note the 70mm maf i installed from the svt as well is nice too! Tuned for that the same time i blew away the egr and down stream o2.

word up. thats how you do it. i used a quarter on the intake manifold side as well for good measure.

i just had mike send me a flare cap that fits the svt header when i ordered the header from him. i tried to find a flare cap that would fit but its got an uncommon thread pitch

how did you put a quarter in the IM side? i allready have my egr sealed off, im just qurious as to how or where you put the quarter on the intake?
