Question Transmission Mount?

If you replace the motor mount and now it is hard to get the car into gear could the transmission mount need to be adjust to make sure it is still properly alligned? If that mount was too high would it cause any problems or since the motor and transmission are bolted together it does not really matter just helps hold it in place?

you cant adjust the lower trans mount there are bolts that hold it in place.

the top bolt that goes into the rubber mount can you just not thread it down so far? not adjusting the bottom near the trans but at the top by the rubber mount...

here is my trans mount. so the big nut in the middle goes to the shaft connected to the trans can you keep tightening this to lift the trans up higher or not tighten so much to lower it? I know this would not be a huge adjustment but could it lead to a bind from the motor if it was lifting it too high?
