First of all...You need to give me your wheels. Lol. Nah, but seriously, yeah, tint the windows, for sure. I'm not a huge fan of carbon fiber hoods, but if that's what you want, go for it man. I'm more about getting these things done first: exhaust, CAI or SRI, and minor aesthetic things you want done to make it more to your liking. But it's your car, so approach it however you want to. Most people start off with minor cosmetic changes and CAI and exhaust. I'm not sure though if you're wanting to do any modding under the hood, or just wanting to make cosmetic changes.

What wrong with the tint you have? If you tint more than the top four inches of your front windows, you will have illegal tint in MI, and the State Police in MI strictly enforce window tint laws.

Love the kona! Keep up the good work! I'm a fan of carbon fiber hoods but not so much on the focus. Don't really know why. I would say start with a CAI or SRI and exhaust. That's what I'm doing like many others. You could always check your local laws for window tint and go as dark as possible without being illegal.

I've had pretty decent tint on all my previous cars never had a problem with police so i would say thats a false statement there. As long as its not limo tint or EXTREMELY dark your prolly fine. Also aren't you trying to sell this on craigslist?

ALSO: The law for michigan is NO tint on front windows at all, rear is any tint as dark as you want.

I agree with others, I'm not real big on the CF hoods. You've got a nice color to the car, I'd be afraid the CF hood would break up the flow. I second the SVT brake kit, it's a great upgrade, plus it'd look nice behind those wheels instead of the tiny stockers. I'd also recommend SVT mirrors, or at least color-matching the mirror caps and the door handles. Normally I'd say paint the side body trim, but since Konas have that unique side body trim, I'd just keep it as-is. Other suggestions would be: gloss black b-pillar trim and rear triangles, edge rear wiper, rear debadge, and SVT rear wing. Good luck with the modding though, can't wait to see what's next.
