Easy Tach?
I really want a tachometer in my 03 LX. I read somewhere that if you can find a gauge cluster from a pick n' pull, and wait for the odometer to catch up, it's just plug and play. The only one I could find had about 25,000 more miles than I currently have. It would take me a few years to catch up to that... So, I was wondering if I could buy an aftermarket tach, and just plug it into the wires behind the gauges where the stock one would go? Is it totally different fittings? Sorry guys, my knowledge on this stuff is very limited.
I hope my question made sense.. Thanks! |

The aftermarket can be hooked directly to the ECU @ pin 48, some tach's use different fluctuations and voltage in that case another pin as coil 1, injector 1, cam or crank sensor may be used.
