Problem with exhaust maniforl and EGR valuve

I have a crack in my exhaust manifold and my EGR valve tube.

Now I wanted to know if I have a crack here would it cause my car to idle low, and when I sit at a stop light or stop sign almost cause my car to stall?

If it has a leak would it cause the performance (such as accelerateing up hill) to be sluggish?

yes to all of the above. is the accutal manifold cracked? or is it just the EGR? the EGR is a commoon probelm on the SPi, i had done mine twice. i would have a exhuast shop see if they can weld the crack on the manifold and go to ford and get a new EGR, it is about 40 bucks.

Ok, well I have a crack in the manifold... and I actually believe it was the gasket for the egr. I have a spare manifold, but I just don't have the time. However I have been having performance issues so I need to get it fixed ASAP! I just don't have the Time! Lol ya know!

I know the feeling bro. I have an EGR that's stuck closed in the van that I really need to repair but just haven't gotten around to doing it.
