Spi to Zetec parts list....read

i am doing the spi to zetec swap and its pretty straightforward. Here is what i have found that you will need so far to complete an automatic to automatic swap:

Ignition and key with matching computer.
Zetec motor
Intake tube
Passenger mtr mount
Throttle cable
radiator hoses
Plastic 3 into 1 hose (coolant Line)
Transmission wiring harness (Has extra connectors)
Wiring that goes from computer to engine harness
power steering line
Catalytic converter and downpipe (all exhaust back to hangers below front seats)
alternator
power steering pump
serpentine belt

Seems like a lot of money and work to jump another 20 OE horsepower. Why not F/I instead?

Also, if you decide to pull the motor out the top, spi motor is a B&*@# to get out, zetec fits much nicer. Also with the zetec, i unbolted the aluminum spacer thing that the oil pan bolts to and it made things 1 million times easier when it came to bolting up the flywheel. it only drops about 4-5 inches because the oil pump is in the way. Also, i accidently broke the little return overflow nipples off both my radiators(upper passenger side) so i threaded the plastic and screwed in a Air compressor quick connect.....works like a charm
