Loud! exhaust NEED SILENCE!

well i just recently installed an obx421 header on my focus, and a flowmaster muffler, and its reallllly loud, i need to quiet it down alot, im running on stock piping, but tomorrow im going to get that upgraded to 2-1/4 to see if that helps any, and also get a resonator on it, ive read that maybe a cherrybomb glasspack can help quiet it down some, is that true, anyone have any ideas?

mlbbaseball and norcalfocus01 are right.

Here's the one I got:
http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com...W-fdsh-/Detail

And here's the list of all of them. You can get the mid-pipe with a resonator, cat or straight pipe. Complete with a flange to the flex:
http://www.mandrelexhaustsystems.com/servlet/Categories

I got this off of Trubendz.com

I got one with the 14" Magnaflow in preparation for a header. After it warms up (6 miles) it gets real quite. Yet it sounds killer at about 3k RPM or 50mph hitting the highway.

Hope that's what you're looking for.

im pretty sure the magnaflow "high flow" are ceramic core. if thats the case then no.

I would go for a metal matrix core, those give the best flow.

something like this (Thunderbolt is the brand RT uses for their cores)

How much differnce will the Magnaflow resonator make over an MBRP resonator?

On my SVT I have an ORP with the MBRP and it is pretty loud.
