Yeah. Sleeper mode is out of the question. Unless you had two big ass oval mufflers running out the back, there's no way to mask a turbo V8.

The cost of your build is nothing to the turbo'd V8 Focus I saw this year. He told us that he stopped counting at 30K Plus his wasn't as nice as yours, he was remote turbo.

What year Mustang? What motor? What mods? You can't just say "a Mustang" and expect us all to think "Well, *obviously* he means a cammed 331ci with open headers." Cars aren't at some arbitrary volume just based on what brand they are or what motor they have.

so far i think it is quieter than the zetec was with the straight 3" out the back. sounds different of cause but w/o load its quieter. no idea what it is going to sound like running 20lb of boost screaming.

it will probably be pretty quiet under boost.. just like any turbod car.. typically the turbo puts more pressure in the exhaust causing back pressure which typically makes the sound a bit quieter.. but until you get to that boost point its gonna roar.. im jealous.. im contemplating a av-8 swap in my 240.. but not sure yet..

a 240 would make a v8 swap so much more simple. there have been times that i wished i would have sold the focus and got a rx7, miata, 240, z or something like that. but now im glad i kept the focus. so far it is turning out better than i thought it would.

also got a little bit of an update. i have the fuel cell and battery box installed. i also ordered the coil overs (i chose 150psi spring rate, what do you guys think?), also ordered some trans fittings, yoke, and different size air filter.

i really didnt realize how short the focus is until i installed the cell and it almost didnt fit b/c of the rear axle.

the coil overs i ordered or just like this
