Theres a section for "hybrids" that are non LSx cars that have LSx's swapped in it. you only get one or two flames the rest will think its cool. They have older cars with the swap, miata's, 240sx's, 350z's, Granp Prix's, etc etc. Even a civic with a 5.7 from a vette in it. If he didnt get flamed very bad you surely wont lol

megasquirt will work for the focus. it can control fuel, timing, knock, built in map, iac, and basically what ever ever you can figure out how to wire up. but it will never match the stock focus ecu. for just a little more you can have a much more simple practical tool for the focus.

you cant say that people that have the prp have less knowledge though. i mean megasquirt can tune itself using a datalog of a previous run. the prp wont do that

but i dont ever argue with these HMT guys. they are so hard headed, lol. all i can say is good luck
okay, ive explained this to the enth degree.

i never said people with prp have less knowledge. but for people that arent very fluent with how a engine works the prp is the choice for them. me on the other hand i like a challenge.

the ford ecu is faster ill give you that.

but can it have boost controll, anti lag, launch control, flat shift, nitrous control.... no it cannot. i want those things.

and my focus starts perfect with megasquirt wired everything up properly with an adapter that i made and the car fired up right away.

megasquirt is a great system. 800hp cars have run on megasquirt without issues. and now with the ms-3 chip coming it will process data hella fast.

you guys are knocking a product without ever dealing with it or playing with it. its a great system with great potential. and for a car that im building from the ground up i couldnt ask for more. well maybe a motec would be nice :P

I dont have a problem with MS but I do have a problem with ignorance. I still dont understand what makes you think I am not fluent in the workings of an engine. PRP is so much more than just pushing buttons my friend.
