quality Mazda... just saying.

I don't think I ever saw it but... if you are still using fwd hubs, how are you keeping the bearings tight? picked up the front end the other day and had loose bearings like crazy.

no idea. one reason i dont like the idea of a rwd fwd car. i cant figure it out either. every one else is just putting a bolt through it but that doesnt load teh bearings at all.

Ok Today is a new day for this project!!!

Tim and I worked out a deal (thank yo so much Tim!) Im STOKED to own this little monster!!!!!

While I wait on it to get here (having it shipped) I will let you in on a lil info about me...

Im 31 with a wife and 2 yr old I build boeing 737's for a living..... Oh sorry I know I know you dont care about that!!!

So down to the project Tim has done a great job IMO on it this far. I plan to keep going in the same direction. I have built a few "one off's" already like a 82 Dodge d50 with a 400hp Chry 360cid and a short 727. I hand built a '88 mustang ssp twin turbo car, A single turbo '94 gt mustang and 27 other mustang builds and a '64 Ford falcon 2dr post car...

So the budget.... THERE IS NOT ONE!!!! I have decided to sell 2 of my mustangs to get me a large clump of cash to really get going on this build.

The car will end with 4xx cid LSx, th400 with a brake and my gt40-50 91mm turbo and Im looking for some 8 second 1/4 times and be able to drive it on the street...

Stay tuned alot is going to happen in a very short time if I have anything to do with it!!!

This car has found a GREAT home!

Nick

Sounds like it went to the right guy, "27 other Mustang builds" LOL. Best of luck and keep us posted on the progress, would love to know that this thing is running and Tims previous work will have been worth it.

First update:

I ordered some 1.250 DOM tubing, 0.250 wall, 3/4 him joints and a few other things so that as soon as the car gets delivered I can start working on it...

First thing Im going to do is build some custom Arms using a spindle off a 5 lug sn95 mustang (or something like this). Just putting a bolt through the factory one is not going to work with the power I plan on making. Plus my wife and 2 year old daughter like to take my cars out when im stuck at work so everything must be right. I will not put anyone's lives at risk over spending the time and money to do it right...

Plus there is not much left on the car that is zx3 anyway so why stop now!!!
