i do not know what all is required for the rear because i dont need the rear
I've read somewhere around here that the rear bolts up. It was always the front that I never had info about, but now I do

Makes me wonder if you could just use the bearing and spindle for the front, instead of having to use the control arm and strut.

Nice Festiva. Since you have Escort seats, you should upgrade to the 92/93 MX-3 bucket seats. When I had an Escort, I had a pair bolted in. The centers were green too, so it matched my car.

you can not use the bearing and spindle or that is what i would have done. the hub and bearings in the mazda are larger and will not fit in the focus's spindle. you will also need to mod your cv axles using the outer knuckle off the mazda 3 to get this to work for you.

as for my seats. i dont have any brackets on the bottom. they are not adjustable. i made mounts for them. so i can put what ever seat i want in there... just got to make bracket for them. when i put racing seats in the focus the festiva will have focus seats. for now the escort seats were free and 100x's better than the tore up stock ones

How does the KDW compare to gForce sport? I seem to remember the gForce being a better choice?

They both are G-Force, KDW are a bit softer rubber than the Sport and with better traction.

I am tempted to get those for my car, but I'm pretty sure traction would be a thing of the past if I do...what do you think, Matt?

Heh, they will work "okay", and probably last longer than another set of RE11's... and cost a lot less. With the power you have on a FWD, you're going to constantly have to make tough choices between longevity and grip. You already have to be very careful with the throttle with RE11's anyway, right?
