What AMSOIL Synthetic Motor Oil, Lubricants, Gear Lube, Fluids and Filters do you need?

Thanks for the useful thread. I ordered MTX fluid for my car and I got the European Car Formula 100% synthetic 5w-40 motor oil and was wondering if it was the right stuff or not. Weird that they use engine oil.

Yes, that would be correct for the Focus transmission. Depending on the use and your location, some may want to use the 10W-40 oil.

The Getrag transmission in the SVTf calls for 2-quarts of European Car Formula 100% synthetic 5w-40.
