Running into some budget slowdowns, so I put in some used koni sports, and keeping the eibach sportline springs for the near term.

Changing to H&R race springs in the future

Going to see if my 15x7.5 rota's will fit over the weekend. Once the hankooks that are on there wear out, it'll be some Kumho Rcomps in 225/50/15's.

Though in the future, I'd really like to run a 275/35/15 in the front and 225's in the back. Hoosiers FTW!!!

So while pulling myself out from the car tonight, I put my hand into a bunch of grease that was on the front sub frame. Quick inspection showed that grease is puking out of the inner CV joint on the passenger side. So a bit of a delay while I get a new assembly and get it installed. I hoped to debut the car this saturday, but I don't think I can get the new halfshaft installed and the data logging done for the tune by then.

The other problem is the black focus has a rear wheel bearing that is shot, and is sounding worse by the day. So new priority is to get that fixed.

I got the drums I put on the black car replaced under warranty, so that too care of the wheel bearing issue. I'll probably start swapping the axles on the FSP car tonight, and try to get that done by next weekend.

OK, been slacking on the car lately, but got some work done this afternoon:)

Passenger axle is installed, replacing the Bad CV joint with the torn boot. Going to work on the drivers side Tuesday. New trans fluid with new wheels studs should be coming in Monday, so I can take care of some of that stuff too. Also going to order some new rotors and pads. Might as well with everything tore apart.

Well i ended up helping bill get out the driver's side axle which is a B!tch, i ended up ripping most of the axle out until this happen:





Hot grease!!!



Smoky the bear stoped by:



we ended up welding a peace of 1/4 inch plate to the other half of the axle an then used a reverse hammer to get the basterd off.
