Not much activity lately, have two events done so far this year. My first one, I managed to cone every run, that sucked. April 2nd I ran at a Clemson event and did pretty well, 2nd in class. Here's a new picture, trying to give my thread a little more life.

Haha, that first pic was weeks ago, the garage is in better shape now :D
Though my roommate's R6 is collecting a lot of dust, he corded the rear tire and its been sitting for months.

Stay tuned this weekend for some car updates, with pictures, I promise. Here's the planed agenda:
-Determine what's causing all the noise from the driver front brake (pad issue, or draging caliper...maybe something else) -Clean and regrease front LCA poly bushings -Locate source of rattle in engine bay, I think its a heat shield lose somewhere -Clean and regrease all rear poly bushings -Repaint toe links, the cheap generic paint did not hold up at all -Install trailing arm poly bushings, finally Also, the big ticket item will be a new muffler install, right now the car is super loud, it has a magnaflow 24"x4" dia. muffler up front and a 14x4" dia. muffler just before the rear subframe. I was going to wait until I could get a sweet custom setup for the car, before doing anything else on the exhaust, but I am now hoping to take this car up to the Tail of the Dragon next month. As the car is now, its too loud on the streets at WOT, I'll be replacing the 14x4" dia. muffler with a 14x6" dia, hoping that will take the WOT noise down a notch. This should reduce the odds of getting a ticket at the dragon:D

Not that anyone is really following :P But here’s an update on the car. Trailing arm bushings installed, and all the other bushings taken out, cleaned, repacked and installed. New muffler welded in, the car is still loud, but it’s no longer a racecar like, ear piercing wall of noise. So that’s an improvement there.
Now for the bad news, with the car all buttoned up with the new quieter muffler in place, I decided to take an early Saturday morning run up to the local mountain roads. When I am about 20 minutes from the mountains, pulling away with normal pace away from a stoplight I go to shift to 3rd and there is an odd feeling from the shifter and I can’t put the car in any gear! Luckily I was going quick enough I was able to coast the car onto a side road and park it. I couldn’t find anything broken, or get it back into gear; I said screw-it and towed the car home. Being that I have a spare trans, and have been putting of the installation of an LSD for some time, I haven’t dropped the trans to look what’s wrong (initial guess is broken shift tower). New parts are on the way here as I type this: -Kaaz 1.5 way LSD -CFM branded clutch and flywheel kit -Assorted hardware to get it all together Andrew and I have opened up the spare transmission; everything looks good to go with it. I’m just waiting for the LSD to arrive to reassemble
