That would be awesome. It's something I've been on the fence about for a while.

ugh that's just confusing (and off topic now) because I thought you worked for them for.... eight years? haha.

But yes I did ask that as a question and for general instruction (for those lucky enough to have some rusty spots on their rides as well), especially considering I've got one hell of a mess called a rusty door and rocker panel on that other car of mine that I want to fix.

Lemme ask it as a question this time. What can I do to at least visually fix rusty body panels without simply spraying over the rust and hoping it doesn't show up again and flake off? I'd like it to be nice and clean for the new paint to go down.

and

I have very tiny "spark" sized rust spots around the body, and the rust has also run down across some painted body panels and stained the paint; buffing would not remove it. How can I fix this?

I was about to say...... you're tired. don't bother with this right now but you said it yourself. I'm just throwing out some ideas I'd like to see answered.

Another one I thought of though, was how to strip the paint from wheels (like mag wheels, that type of wheel) and properly paint on those

Nice! This will definitely help me out! Also so what would you recommend on my bumper project since it is plastic? Do I do adhesion promoter and then primer? Or will the primer work fine with out it. I"m guessing I need the adhesion promoter, then primer. I'll have to check out what I have when I get home. Anyways nice write up!

I'll wait for christopher's input on it, but I thought you had to use some type of flex agent or something. honestly I dunno but I remember something about it.

the only plastic I ever painted were my interior pieces and I had to use adhesion promoter to make it work and look good. It came out so well! I think I took pics and posted them somewhere.
