It won't run terrible. Just terribly loud

Switching to a High Flow Cat or Off Road Pipe would be a good idea but your exhaust will be louder. All the cat does is burn up any left over fuel that goes through the exhaust. The cat doesn't work correctly until it gets heated up.

Which cat did you want to remove?

I think the FS exhaust may get rid of the 2nd cat anyway.

I wanted to remove both but the fs exhaust is 2nd cat back i believe... lol so im guessing i`ll be content with removing 1 . thanks orange for clarifying cats. I just wanted less restriction.

The first is part of your header, and then there is another one further down the line. I would just get rid of the second, which I think FS comes with a high flow so you would be fine. And then when you get a new header, your first cat is gone.

To remove the first cat, you'll need a header.

As far as I know there aren't any ORP's or even high flow cats available for the Duratecs.
The first cat is built into the exhaust manifold.
