offroad pipe and 02 cheater kit

i was wondering if anyone has used this kit or knows about about it
SVT Offroad Pipe and O2 Cheater Kit

did it change the sound?....i listened to the sound clip and it basically sounds the same

was it worth the money? and is there anything special that i need to know before installing it?

i know that it is relatively easy to install but my main concern is it worth it?

It appears to be the same as the www.focus-central.com offroad pipe and 02 cheater!
I had it on mine for a month or so and replaced ti with the stock cat.... Makes the car very agressive sounding (not zippy like the honda's, etc.) can "MAKE" it go bang! Shift hard and it's very impressive! I think it was worth the money. I paid $200 for mine.

Just be careful when removing your cat... I broke 2 bolts on mine! I had to get a new cat from the dealer, only cost $279!

Idle to 2000rpm nice rumble, 3-4000 a little louder, 4+ loud as h3ll! I always set off car alarms just driving down the street! Loved it and miss the power boost gave!

The ORP will not disappoint you, it is loud and sounds great when up in the RPM's

Off Road Pipe

How often did anyone who owns this use the Off-road pipe? Everyday? For How long?

I had mine for a month... You leave it in place! Normally! Some people put it on only to run at the track others leave it in place (which I did)... It litterally replaces the stock cat. You take the 7 bolts which hold the cat inplace and insert the ORP!

I live in a very "EMISSIONS" strict area and was informed!!!!! STORNGLY!!!! There is a $50,000 fine in my state for removal of emissions controls on a "street registered" vehicle!

That is why I removed it! Can't justify $50,000 for 7hp and 9 FT torque! Just me!

I live in Alabama and breath bad air, because we dont have ANY emissions law. The state is too cheap to put up any strictions. This might explain why nobody can breath here.

We run the ORP all the time, have seen people change them out for the track, to much trouble if you ask me, they state that it sounds to aggressive on the road for their taste,

I agree with imajrdaddy you normally leave it in place, we have borla which has a resonator, so it is loud, but not that loud.

I was thinking of getting an off road pipe myself, and just slap the cat back on for a day every 2 years when i have to get my emissions tested :-D

I have the FC ORP. Love it. One of the best, if not the best, bang for the buck mods.
