JRSC first start

Well after 6 months of off and on installing my jrsc supercharger I finally turned it on! A few problems we ran into were that it didnt come with a fuel rail, a power steering bracket, and throttle cable bracket so I had to customize all those pieces to fit. Also when we tried turning it on the first time we found the alternator was shot, so we had to replace that. Got my start up tune from tom, closed my eyes and turned the key. here is the result

For someone who has only changed the oil in his car im pretty happy with the outcome. I think there are some vacuum leaks that I need to find. and I still need to figure out why my o2 sensors are not reading, so I can get a driving tune.

All right. At least you got it running. I can hear the vacuum leak, the whistling. Get that plugged up. I dont know why you wouldnt get a reading from the O2. On the lap top it`s not reading, or are you getting a code.?

Do you have the O2 PID checked in the box on the Lap top? I know it sounds crazy, but on my Lap top its real easy to accidently un check it...

Very nice, it feels so good when you fire it up for the first time knowing you did all the work yourself!

I still use 5w-30 on my SVT but I switched to Motorcraft full synthetic. So far, so good! Since you're running a non-SVT, I would just switch from 5w-20 to 5w-30.

A vac leack would cause your o2s to be flatlined I bad enough also the take awhile to heat up

He would be correct. 0V = lean 1v=rich

However the computer should see this and increase fuel trims to adjust for the vac leak. Check your Short Term Fuel Trims (STFT1) They should not be above 10%. So your should be seeing a reading on you 02 regardless..
