2000 SE.I have a grand to increace hp and handling. help please

2000 SE
i got 43.5 hp with 1287.00. Undrive pulley kit 12 hp, throttle body spacer 10 hp, eibach springs handling improved, magnaflow exaust 5.4 hp, delta chip 11 hp, headers 4 hp. not enough hp for me or my dad. any sugestions?

That post is wrong in so many ways!!

lol....I call some serious bullshit without dyno charts of EACH mod.

NO WAY a UDP can net 12hp.

NO WAY a TB spacer nets 10hp.

NO WAY a delta chip nets 11hp....they dont even make a delta chip for the SPI yet.

OMG LOL!!!

ok throttle body space = 0 hp gains its just a spacer maybe a few if ur lucky but nothing to nice just response...udp maybe 8-10 if ur lucky i dunno about chips but the rest seems legit...btw dun mod ur spi for speed its a waste at the time b/c u wont be able to run under 15 in the 1/4 w/o a turbo or sc which doesnt exist w.o a lot of custom shyt!!!

stick to springs i like the H&R cup kit 2.5 drop madddddd handling its like 650...

You are just as bad as the first guy.

Why cant we mod the SPI for speed? Did you know that in Europe this VERY SAME motor in NA form and less displacement is being modded to 150whp with little headwork?

And getting a turbo onto the SPI is easier and cheaper than the zetecs. No custom. If you look in the right places you can buy a OEM FORD turbo manifold and then have the piping fabbed up.

I suggest you look in the suspension forum for suspension information

Those TB spacers, damn, from what I have been reading you will probably end up loosing HP on those things and those other HP ratings you got, HELL NO! I think you better do some serious reading on this board before buying ANYTHING at all for your car.

yo turboing ur spi needs custom work b/c to get the headers wit the flange u gotta get it custom made then there is custom piping needed as well there is no botl on and i nvr said teh zetec was ez to turbo but u can sc it easily...

No, no, and no.

Yes you can buy an OEM Ford Turbo manifold for the SPI. I do believe it bolts up to a T3 turbo. It either will come off of an Escort EXP or the Escort RS in Europe. The only thing you will need custom made is an uppipe and a dowpipe. That is all. And thats not too much considering what is usual and customary. Switch to the Zetec Fuel rail and MAFS and you are good to go.

You can stop arguing with me now. Do your research before you step up to bat.

There are SO MANY bolt on zetec turbo kits too...but this is the SPI forum. IMHO....turbo is easier install than SC.

So...for about 200bux depending on where you get your turbo...you can have an OEM Manifold AND turbo.
