South Bend Clutch SVT Focus Group Buy

This is a group buy for the south bend clutch for the SVT. We will be offering our customers on this forum for a limited time 10% off retail on the south Bend clutch kit for the SVT. This is good from 01/21/2009 to 02/04/2009.

These kits are made out of high quality components. The clutch disks are made to hold power and last. One of our customers has a powerworks supercharger with a stage 3 clutch kit. He noted the clutch kit feels like stock, but does not slip at all. He also noted he has over 20k miles on the clutch without any issues.

South bend clutch does offer a 1 year or 12k mile warranty coverage, which is the longest warranty we have seen for an aftermarket clutch.

What type of flywheel dose the clutch kit come with?

It comes with an aluminum flywheel made by south bend clutch.

Are these the ones that use a modified Audi unit? I may see if I can come up with the cash for one.

It is a modified VW pressure plate. They use the modified Audi pressure plates with the Fidanza flywheels. SBC noted No real advantage over the VW and the Audi pressure plates. Both are much better than the factory pressure plate. They used the Audi pressure plates with the Fidanza flywheels since it had little better fitment for that particular flywheel.

The SBC stage 1 would be similar to the CM stage 1. The SBC stage 3 would be similar to the CM stage 3, but the SBC has different type of clutch material. SBC offers a lower warranty of 1 year, while most clutch manufactures only offer 90 days.
