Gotta vote for my ride! Here's a brief story of the car for the interested. I previously owned a 2002 SVT ZX3, it was as bare bones as a SVT gets, no sunroof, no heated seats, no TC, and the audiophile had been stripped out for a horrible aftermarket system.

I didn't learn of the Euro package until I joined here a week or so after I bought the car. I had some major Euro package envy. I drove, modified and loved my '02 for 2+ years and the time had come to make a change. I really thought I'd be leaving the Focus world. I looked at and drove several different model cars but still loved the SVT.

I lucked out on Sept. 4 2008 when I spied in the FS section here a 2004 ZX5 Euro package SVT Focus with a huge bonus, the PowerWorks S/C. The asking price was too good to resist, and after talking to the PO, purchased a one way ticket to Nashville, TN. On 18 Sept, I flew down and picked her up. Drove 15 hours straight home, 1,007 miles.

I loved the car, but I really needed to make it my own. The exterior was completely stock, save for a stick on keyless entry pad which I hated. So I added window tint, the Euro grille, Xenonmatch foglight bulbs, the Edge wiper, Bosch ICON blades, Focus Central trim pieces, Infinity Kappa component speakers, and tinted the headlights and taillights, and debadged the "Focus" and "PowerWorks" I am sticking to a theme of subtle mods, I love the "sleeper" look

I will soon have tinted side markers installed and body color matched washer nozzles and antenna base, as well as a custom center exit exhaust for a more aggressive look and tone. Thanks for reading the story behind the car, and I appreciate the nomination!

I actually bought myself a new shift boot and e-brake boot online last night, so I'm excited for that to get here. My plan is to be supercharged by the end of the summer!

well, your car IS the motivation behind my stripes, plus the gf is in love with the white wheel/stripe combo on red.. guess that decides it!
