Hey you guys think used CFM Underdrive pulleys for $100 are a good deal? They're $250 new.

Nope under drive pulleys are a waste of money. You will not see one gain from it.

What engine do you have?

Also Oct 29th, good day for a garage day. I got a motor swap to do, Josh if you want to do your suspension, I'll help you while we pull the motor out.

Really? No gains? I've got the 2.3L and both the seller (of course) and the CFM website said I'd see some gains. My own shoot from the hip engineering says I'll see something since I'm using less HP for accessories and less rotational mass.

Garage day on the 29th sounds good. I can come early with a car full of beer, parts, and tools. And I'm assuming you mean you'll be pulling out your engine and not mine.

Gerald, will do.

Josh, yes pulling my sisters engine. On the UDP you'll see little gain for the amount of money spent. Things that you want to spend your money on are an intake, throttle body, header, exhaust, Cossi intake manifold, tune, cams.

Brian, do they have the cat as well? I may or may not need it. Denise is willing to buy a SVT header so we can do the swap right the first time if I can find one.

Yeah, my original plans were to do intake, exhaust, header and tune and be done. I just found these UDPs for $100 and thought it was a great deal. Hmm. I guess I'll wait and save up for the header and tune. Thanks for helping me possibly avoid my valves and pistons bumping heads.
