And I am working on the hood. I get paid on July 1st and need to get primer. Should I get Filling primer or what kind? And last time I sanded my hood i used 800 grit sand paper but started with 400......

You need to sand more than that. Get 220 and wet sand it. What color and finish do you want? More than likely filler primer but if your doing something simple like matte black you don't need filler.

I would like a Gloss black or even paint match the rest of my car. Same color as geralds phantom. But if not gloss black.

Im going to buy filler primer and wet sand. ill try my best to get it all nice and ready. I can maybe take the 10th off from my work to go to Geralds.

Gerald I am off on Friday. But free to do anything after 6 anyday.

Well I'm not painting at Geralds on the 10th, I'm painting at my house. Gloss black is your option unless you want to go buy a pint of red for $100 to match your car. Filler primer is what you'll need for gloss black too.

Oh ok ok got it lolz. Ill prep the hood and get some filler primer. Do you preffer the darker primer or the lighter primer?

And i will prob drop the hood off to you. Does anyone have a hood that i can borrow lolz........

Lighter primer when using dark colors. Why drop it off? Come down we paint it you drive it home.
