Where is TPS located? Is it the same place Apex was before they closed or is this a new location?

Also, don't they have a Mustang dyno? $50 for 3 pulls is a good deal. Most places charge $90+ for three pulls.

They're in Campbell, right off 17. I think it is a Mustang dyno, not one of the best but for 3 pulls $50 is a damn good deal.

I don't have much to measure at the moment, but it would be nice to have a base to know where I've come from.

I'm no dyno expert, but I have been to a couple places to have cars dynoed. From what I have seen, Mustang dynos tend to read lower since its meant for rwd car and can read lower than say a Dynojet. So its cool to get a baseline, but I wouldn't put too much into the readout. Its a good baseline to see where you're at, but a Dynojet would probably read a tad higher.

Again, no expert, just my observation from seeing the same cars dynoed on both and the numbers come out differently is all. Maybe the Mustang dyno is more accurate and the DynoJet reads higher. Ask someone who knows.

I would like to dyno my car as well; my stock baseline was 155whp/135tq on a DynoJet. After the plethra of parts added to the car, I would hope I would be somewhere in the 170+ range.

Now I'm online doing research to setup a dyno day. We did one at Apex YEARS ago when my husband still had his PWSC 03 SVT. Ed at Apex did a custom tune on it since the PW tune was popping motors.

I wish I could tell you where Ed went but even I don't know. Ed worked at Apex in Santa Clara but left a year or two before it closed. Nice guy; great tuner. I myself prefer FSWerks since they are in CA and Randy is a nice guy. Other than those two, I haven't had much experience with other tuners.
