and to the old guy lol sorry but
i was talking to a dude about getting my bumper
painted and he said he would do my mine for $150
i got his number and stuff i could talk to him and
see if he could hook you up too
Sounds good... I may still end up painting them myself, I am just getting nervous about it. I borrowed my friend's HVLP? gun and found the paint online to "match" my OEM paint...

If I can find the right deal, I would just assume pay someone who knows what they're doing...

HVLP= High Velocity, Low Pressure...this is the legal standard for a paint gun, it means the paint is moving fast out of the gun, but has low pressure, it helps to prevent the amount of solvents emmited into the air.

I'm starting to repair my 18" rims, but in this temperature the JB Weld doesn't want top harden all the way The previous owner thrashed those wheels plus I hit a curb once when we went to Santa Cruz

okay, here is one of the wheels I'll be painting:

Should I paint it all black, or paint the lip silver again? I'm gonna sell the set. Which do you think would sell better?
(quick photoshop)

*edit*
I think all black looks better

I personally don't like all black wheels. It doesn't differentiate the tire from the wheel. I'm an old guy that isn't up on trends, so take that into consideration... So, my 2 cents = leave the outer edge polished or painted silver.
