[:)][:)][:)][:)][:)] i was putting my filter back on and realized the the little
bracket the holds my intake from moving around is snaped
and its aluminum so i cant get a hold of a tig welder for while,
but then i would have to repaint it..
so im going to hit up K&N and see if they warranty that cause it
straight broke while it was on my car you know its not like i

If K&N won't replace it, take the broken bracket to a metal shop and have 'em fab a new one for you. Shouldn't be too expensive.

i replied to your thread...

"you can get a Specter intake mount at AutoZone for about $20. That will work for this purpose... it's like a hose clamp with a bunch of parts you can use to attach it to something in your engine compartment. That will serve you purpose for the time being."

Its a long drive, with one stop probaly 1.5 hours. I did it Saturday with the family. I was in my van wish I had my Focus!

Scott, you may have done this one before.
Well, I had to check out that road today now that my car is running decently. I conned my buddy to ride shotgun and we drove the loop. We need to do it as a group. There was one section of Wentworth Springs Road where there was about 2 miles of sweeping left than right then left... I kept it in third and blasted through at about 60-70... FUN!!!
