I'm buying my first house, so I need to sell my Focus... as soon as possible. It's a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3, the "Power Premium" package level, with power everything, a factory power moonroof, the 16" alloys, 5-speed tranny, and the 6-disc in-dash changer. Pretty rare car.
About 28,000 miles. Still under warranty until 36,000 miles or August 23, 2005. I have been the only owner of this car, and it is in superb condition (seriously). Never wrecked, no paint or body work, no curbing on the wheels, no flaws in the interior. Factory floor mats. Freshly inspected. They don't get any better than this. It really is like buying a new car. I'm asking $8,499 for it, which is about $500 below Kelley Private Party value. I still owe a boatload, but I've got enough in savings to pay off the difference. I'd consider reasonable offers near the $8,500 mark, too.

I had this car on eBay a few weeks ago, but it did not sell. I had a dealer in PA offered me $7000 for it, but I really need to get as close to $8500 as I can. Even at $8,500, I will have to clean out my savings to pay off the car.
If you're interested, make an offer, though. I'm trying to buy a house, and I really need to sell this car. Last edited by plasticspaceman; 07-13-2004 at 01:23 PM. |

Well, you're definitely going to have negative equity (meaning you'll owe more than you can sell it for), so your best bet is to try to get a loan for my car for the maximum amount (probably around $10,500) and use the difference to pay off your car.
That way, you could try to find a buyer for your car, and you'd have $2500 or so to add to it once you find a buyer. It's tough to do though. Especially since Ford basically gives Focuses away with $4000 rebates. They lose alot of value in the first year. Oddly enough, I bought this car for the same reason you're looking at it... I had a 2000 ZX3 in an automatic, and decided in 2002 that I couldn't live without a manual tranny and a moonroof. =) Good luck! |

I would take it but I already owe 9 grand for my current zx3 and I don't have much saving to get another one. But I would take it =D
