Exclamation Tuning sub-forum poll

Its pretty simple...

Do you guys think we should have a tuning sub forum on here ...

I would like to see one to cover all tuning related questions and I think it would help to keep the tuning threads that we get now from being lost in the shuffle.

If this does come through I would like to see participation from everyone that has any knowledge about tuning.

I thnk if we let everyone who knows anything about tuning post up what they know, it's going to be a big mess and mixed information. Different opinions and what not. It's going to turn into a bickering thread about who has the biggest balls.

I think we should let one person, i.e. Tom, write the thread sinc everyone goes to him anyway for tuning related questions.

Granted Tom definitly knows ALOT... but he doesnt know everything (no offence)

For example.. I figured out the SVT fuel issue, and made it work on my car then I gave Tom the info and he got it to work on others.

The are others on here that actually know quite abit about tuning.. plus Tom may not always be in here since he is moving to Mexico.

Well I think you and Tom should work on a general tuning stickie thread. An outline of each aspect of tuning. So that it is easy enough for those who just want adjust spark, fuel and what not.

Of course there may be more that know about tuning, but like I said earlier, if you let everyone type in what they know or think they know, it will be a thread of opinions and someone who is trying to find the nswer to a problem will see 10 different answer is will be unsure of what to do.

Maybe think about locking the thread and any info that someone would like to provide for the thread would be run by either you or Tom to verify the validity of the information to ensure the thread contains correct information.

i have to disagree about it being a bad idea cause while there may be arguing and disagreement, it will all be in one place! and much easier to sort through information!! I hate having to use the search button for multiple categories. its annoying!!

No I'm all for the Tuning Sub Forum but I'm against having EVERYBODY contribute on a free basis cuz it will end up just looking like the "Generic ECU Tuning Thread"

Great ideas. Make a tuning forum with with sub catagories generated by questions that come up from people like me that want that full on knowledge.
