there going to install a new throw out bearing and slave cyc tomorrow on it,,had to pay extra and had to get it ordered...clutch was good looking still

Yeah i believe the clutches are different...I know no one has a performance one for the SVT...all i hear are horror stories how they slip after the first 500 miles to 10,000 miles or they have come apart. Meaning the disc either comes off or the springs break and fall out. I have been thinking about the lightened flywheel, just wonder can it be daily driven without problems.

i dont know to much about the svt but id still with a factory one unless u want to take the chance on a few more rebuilds,,clutches can cause damage to the tranny also,,,and ure svt tranny is what like 1200$ used? and like 3k new? i dont think id chance it myself,.,,i can get a used tranny for my car for like 450$,,,lol,,,so i would not be to worried on replaced mine with aftermarket ones,.,

Yeah i priced a new one and it was almost $4000 for it. I run Royal Purple in mine and wonder if putting in a LSD would be worth the money. Hite Mfg offer the Luk kit for around $450. thats everything even the flywheel. That probably will be ok since i don't ever see me making over 200hp. I have been thinking about getting a Tom's tune. Just wonder is the $475 is worth it. If i get his tune that means i will be coming down your way probably this spring. Hard to spend money with Christmas and kids....I know you know what i mean. lol My oldest Zack was with me that day at Jordan lake he is 15, but i also have a 3 year old Zane....he has my heart the most.... Since i'm older i get to enjoy him the most.

well i know one thing,, i got just a emailed tune for stock on my focus from turbo tom...and it was the shit man,.. added noticeable horsepower difference thats for sure...felt like 30 hp more...i mean it was a whole new car to me with the tune

i guess we have descided to stay in nc,, i just got me a new cf hood and body kit,,so i guess im going to start working on the focus again.. was going to trade it in but i went up there and got the run around..wanting to much for the new car
