1/8th mile times

hey i was intrested to know if any of you have run the 1/8th mile. thats the only track around here i can run and i want to compare some times i ran on friday. besides the broken x-mas tree causing my reaction times to be horrible my lowest run was a 10.2. my record is now 2-0 and i have a gts celica lightly modded and a zx3 heavily modded but naturally aspirated that i also beat but not by much. he actually got me off the line but i won by half a foci. if it was the 1/4 i would have been almost two foci ahead cause i was pullin.

Reaction time won't affect your time though. Since the computer is tuned for 91-93 octane I would run that, I doubt your seeing anything extra with the 100, also the catback doesn't help much on our cars.

Trust me the 100 octane makes a diffrence i can feel it. My friends drove it and they could feel it too.

It also cause the rpms to rise faster you can truely feel the acceleration. I know there have been discussions about certain octanes for certain engines/computers on FF and i have read them. I called svt and spoke with a tech over the phone and he said my car would love 100 octane and it dose it even runs smoother.

Maybe your car runs slower b/c of all the stuff you have in there...i mean if you actually have all the stuff that's in ur sig in the car...that'll slow you down quit a bit.
