Question oil filter plates? Ts? for oil pressure and oil temp gauges?

alright, im planning to install those gauges in the nearest future, so im trying get everything ready for an install and wondering what should i get and prices?

saw some oil plates but there around $40+shipping, or should i just get a 'T', ive heard that you can get it from home depot but i had no luck, + if i find any what are they should be made of? rubber? some kinda metal?

Those "Ts" are made of brass.....but they break. I broke one and lost most of my oil in a few minutes.

If I were doing this to my Focus, I'd use an adapter plate like this. Much easier to install...and shouldn't break.

How is the zetec filter placed? I know on the duratec it's pretty low, your filter will sit probably about 1-2" lower with the sandwich plate. Just keep that in mind.

lol then what is the best thing to connect oil pressure and oil temp? but i think it should be alright with zetec
