Convert to power locks ..... windows

I would like to convert my manual locks to power locks...what are my options? Also is there an aftermarket power window conversion? Thanks

I see ads for keyless entry and alarm combos. Will these work if you dont have power locks?

You best bet would to go to a junkyard and find a Fofo with power locks and windows. You would probably have to buy the door panels (which have the controls in them), and the motors for the locks and windows. A keyless entry will not work on manual locks. There has to be something there that can lock and unlock them, i.e. the motor.

Here is the kit I installed in my LX. It was a pretty big job although straight forward. Only problems I had with this company is that a couple of steel rods were missing out of the kit and they priority mailed the missing parts to my house. Sure is nice to have keyless entry. I also bought a rocker switch for my drivers side door that opens all four doors although it was not necessary. The kit also lets you open your trunk with the remote. They sold me a relay that I did not need for the trunk. Leave me rep if I helped you out.

I installed the same Kit that Focuspilot showed on my 07. It's a pretty simple install if you know your basic hand tools, it's just time consuming. I actually have a write up of it somewhere on the forum, as well as a power window write-up, which was a Spal kit I ordered from the same company, a-1.

Hey Pilot, how did you get your kit to pop your trunk? I can't seem to find the wire to splice to make mine do it.

The trunk switch on the drivers side instrument panel has black wire with a stripe on it(cant remember the color). When you push the button on the panel it grounds the circuit and pops the trunk. Just splice the remote keyless wire that corresponds to the aux/trunk channel into that wire. Then when you push the aux switch on the remote it will ground the black striped wire. You will have to pull the speedo to get to the back of the switch and splice the wires.
