it will tighten them up for shifting, but there will still be a little bit of looseness when youre IN gear. nothing you can do about that really.

I have a Ford Racing STS... my only gripe is that it isn't angled in the middle like the stock shifter, which puts 5th gear just far enough away to be a bit uncomfortable. Some say I'm picky about it, but I'm all about attention to details.

Does anyone have an installation guide (with pictures) for the Steeda STS in an 08+ Focus? Looking to buy one ASAP, just want to see some pictures of the install first. It doesn't look like the Steeda STS comes with the mounting bracket for the shifter linkage -- just curious if you have to reuse the part from the stock shifter or what?
